The Larchmont Historical Society maintains the Larchmont War Memorial site as a tribute to the men and women who gave their lives to defend our nation and our community. The site includes an Index of Memorials with photographs by Ned Benton of each war memorial located in the 10538 postal zone, the area the LHS is chartered to serve. This includes the Village of Larchmont and the unincorporated part of the Town of Mamaronceck.

Typically, the memorials list the names of local residents who died in service. The Society’s goal is to create a Roll of Honor consisting of an individual page for each soldier that integrates information about his or her life.

Family members, friends and associations can forward information to the LHS at a special email address set up for the project:

We also include photographs of memorials located outside of 10538 when they show names of Larchmonters. Once a memorial is included, our policy is to list all the names on our Roll of Honor and to develop individual pages for each honored soldier as information becomes available.
